Once this season finishes we can expect there to be a number of changes at Man United, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s future now looking increasingly doubtful.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS group now have full control of the footballing side of the business, and whilst there are evident changes that must be made, going full steam ahead from the get go might not be the best course of action either.
A calm and methodical approach to all aspects is surely the way to go, with priority given to the playing side.
It isn’t clear at present whether Erik ten Hag will retain his position as manager at the club, and whether or not that will affect the future of some of his players, however, the new board may well take some of the decisions out of his hands.
Man United looking at Bellanova to replace Wan-Bissaka
For Wan-Bissaka, his time at the club could be up regardless, with Tuttosport noting that the Red Devils have an interest in Torino’s Raoul Bellanova.
The 23-year-old Italian has been winning rave reviews for his performances in Serie A, with the outlet suggesting his current value remains at a reasonable €20m-€25m.
That could increase significantly were he to make Italy’s European Championship squad and have a decent tournament, so it makes sense for Man United to declare their interest now.
