Sara Ali Khan radiates such positivity and warmth in this beautifully bright yellow saree that has been styled extremely well
Sara Ali Khan is the epitome of regal styles and cuts. Not only does she slay contemporary outfits like a pro, but her ethnic picks are quite eye-catching. Recently, she visited the 54th International Film Festival of India to unveil the preview for her upcoming film Ae Watan Mere Watan. While the film looks promising, what became the highlight of the event was the bright yellow saree the actress wore on the occasion. Her breathtaking outing will surely steal your heart.
Sara Ali Khan’s handloom saree is an enticing shade of yellow from the shelves of Pero. It features a delicate flower motif and stripes hand-woven in ‘mashru,’ a traditional Gujarati material. The hand-knitted jamdanis with daisies offered a royal touch, while the blue stripes in the yellow background at the bottom of her saree added an extra touch of elegance. She draped the saree simply letting the pallu flow wonderfully from her shoulders, and paired it with a matching elbow-length blouse. The entire look was brought together by celebrity stylist Ami Patel.
Sara kept her accessories to a minimum, designing her appearance with just a pair of gold statement earrings and high heels. Sara’s makeup included pink eyeshadow, mascara on the lashes, winged eyeliner, flushed cheeks, and a nude lipstick shade. Her thick locks were wrapped in a bun to complete the look.
Yellow is definitely Sara Ali Khan’s colour. Earlier this year, while promoting her film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Sara’s exotic look in a bright yellow saree caught our attention. Sara Ali Khan’s Manish Malhotra mulmul saree had a basic drape with contrasting gold and pink patti borders and tiny eyelet motifs on the edges. Sara draped the pallu on her shoulder elegantly and let it trail on the floor, which was embellished with white leaf motifs. She wore the saree conventionally, with front pleats. Sara paired her yellow saree with a sleeveless shirt with a cropped hem, a wide U-neckline, a fitted bust design, and a back cut feature. She accessorised with similar yellow bangles, delicate gold and pearl jhumkas, and sandals.
For the glam options, Sara went for a dainty pink bindi, glossy pink lip shade, smoky gold-hude shimmering eye shadow, sleek black eyeliner, kohl-lined eyelids, mascara on the lashes, feathered brows, rouged cheekbones, a dewy base, and a dazzling highlighter.
On the work front, she plays the role of freedom fighter Usha Mehta in the upcoming film Ae Watan Mere Watan. Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta are producing the film, with Somen Mishra serving as a co-producer. The film will be released on Prime Video.
