We began our meal with some delectable sushi. The Crunchy Avocado Roll and Prawns Tempura Roll are beloved options you cannot go wrong with. Before you move on to appetisers, make sure to try the dim sums and dumplings here. The restaurant has wonderful choices, ranging from subtle and aromatic to spicy and decadent. The Philly Cheese & Chilly Dumpling, the Spicy Chicken Dumpling and the Chicken & Cheese Dumplings are the perfect choices for a leisurely indulgence. The Broccoli & Cottage Cheese Dumpling was also a hit at our table.

Shifuku has a fantastic cocktail menu that complements Asian dishes quite well. We highly recommend the sweet and slightly tangy Red Moon Eye, a concoction made with hibiscus-infused gin, berries, pineapple and basil seeds. We also enjoyed Lady Pirates, which is made with vodka, fresh grapefruit juice, homemade oregano syrup and lime. For a theatrical option, order the Magic Stone. It was a wonderful vodka and gin cocktail with yuzu, orange, lime and ginger ale. It is put together at your table with flair, so be ready for a special treat! The drinks menu has refreshing mocktails as well. We liked the Thirsty Well (with green apple, pineapple and passion fruit), as well as Love to Love (rose and lychee).

When it comes to other starters, the restaurant has several classics that will satisfy your comfort food cravings, from Lotus Root Fries to Shifuku Special Prawn Cheung Fun. There are some yummy baos on the menu too. The Korean Spicy Chicken Open Bao we tried was filled with delicious crispy strips and topped with a creamy sauce.

For the main course, you can go with popular delicacies like Burnt Chilli Fried Rice and Korean Noodles, with a choice of sauce. We enjoyed the Blue Pea Jasmine Rice and Udon Noodles with the Slow Cooked Chicken In Tobanjan sauce. End your meal on a sweet note with the Baked Cheesecake or the Tub Tim Krob.

Shifuku By Curly Tales was opened in collaboration with restaurateurs, Aman Singh Deep and Monika Rathore. The restaurant provides a great setting for a relaxing dining experience and has an extensive menu that is sure to delight guests with different tastes. The next time you’re looking for a charming destination for a foodie outing, consider this one!
