Beyoncé has arguably the best albums in the last few decades and her numbers of Grammy awards would attest to that. But, for Rachel Hislop, editor-in-chief at OkayAfrica, it was difficult to name one.

During an interview with The Mozilla Blog, the writer was asked to share her favourite album of the pop icon.

“My favorite Beyoncé album … I don’t know that I can answer that because every part has had a very important impact on my life,” she shared.

The prominent journalist continued, “I had The Writings on the Wall on a cassette tape that I used to play in my little boombox. And Dangerously in Love, I was in high school and experiencing little crushes for the first time. The albums grew.”

Adding, “I met Sasha Fierce when I’m in college and learning the dualities of self when I’m away from home, and so on and so forth. So, it’s hard to pick a favorite when each of those moments were so tied to different portions of my life.”
