Prince Harry has been planning to take a huge step to secure his children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet amid the ongoing rift with the royal family.
For the unversed, the Duke of Sussex inherited a whopping between £7million and £8million from his great-grandmother, Queen Mother, as he turned 40 years old.
The money comes from a trust fund that the Queen Mother set up for her grandchildren – she put the majority of her estimated £70million wealth into it and Harry’s share is around 10 per cent.
An insider shared with Woman’s Day magazine that the former working royal aims to save his great-grandmother’s money for his kids.
“He wants to put the inheritance away for their future, especially for Archie [five] and Lili [three],” added the source.
It is important to note that Harry, who marked his 40th birthday on September 15, opened up about the joys of fatherhood in a statement released on BBC.
He said, “Becoming a father of two incredibly kind and funny kids has given me a fresh perspective on life, as well as sharpening my focus in all my work.”
King Charles’s son further shared, “Being a dad is one of life’s greatest joys and has only made me more driven and more committed to making this world a better place.”
