That’s why, Doha is a popular tourist destination for people from all over the world, including India who want to experience a harmonious blend of the past and present.  From indulgent shopping to dining experiences, well-curated art immersion, and a relaxed day at the spa, Doha, Qatar has something for every kind of traveller. On my visit to the city, I had an eye-opening and immersive experience that will stay with me for a long time.

For those interested in art and culture, Qatar is an enticing destination. Doha has a rich cultural heritage and a modern, cosmopolitan vibe, making it an attractive destination for Indian tourists.

Qatar has a wide range of accommodation options to suit all budgets and preferences. There are luxury hotels such as the Four Seasons, St. Regis, and Ritz-Carlton, as well as mid-range and budget hotels. I stayed in The Ned, which was right in the middle of the city with close proximity to all the places that were on my bucket list. Plus the modern infrastructure and in-house restaurants enhanced my experience.

The National Museum of Qatar:  It is an architectural masterpiece that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Qatar Doha, the capital city, also boasts galleries preserving Islamic art and culture, including the iconic Museum of Islamic Art.

Museum of Islamic Art: The Museum of Islamic Art is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Qatar. It houses a vast collection of Islamic art from around the world, including ceramics, textiles, and manuscripts.

Visit Souq Waqif for some traditional food. Do try Arabic coffee and Qatari halwa, and don’t forget to pack some for home. Souq Waqif is a traditional market in Doha that has been restored to its former glory. It is a great place to shop for souvenirs, spices, and traditional clothing. Don’t forget to shop for local spices and dates, of course. The market also has several restaurants and cafes where visitors can sample local cuisine.
