PML-N has fielded candidates in most of the provincial seats and all of the NA seats
As the February 8 general elections inch closer, political parties have ramped up their preparations to make the most of the much-awaited polls.
Balochistan albeit having fewer seats in the National Assembly, still holds importance if a party wishes to form its government in the centre — as every vote counts.
The National Assembly has a total of 266 general seats, 10 reserved seats for non-Muslims, and 60 reserved for women — bringing the overall tally to 336.
Among the 336 seats, Balochistan has a total of 20 seats, including 16 general and four reserved seats for women.
Leaving no stone unturned to ensure that they come into power in the province, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has fielded candidates in most of the provincial seats and all of the NA seats.
