Dhanush is all set for his second directorial project, Raayan. The actor is also playing the lead role in the film. This upcoming Tamil action drama will be released worldwide on July 26. Raayan marks his 50th film as an actor. This film has created anticipation among viewers since the project was announced. With a few days left until the release of the film, news related to the story of Raayan is making the rounds on the internet.
Initially, Raayan was touted as a gangster film. Meanwhile, as per the latest report, Dhanush is said to be playing the role of a police informer. The suspense of Dhanush being a police informer will be revealed after a clash between Dhanush, a restaurant owner, with his brothers in a notorious area and members of another gang.
Currently, there are reports that the film is based on the story of Dhanush coming into the villain area, running a restaurant, and cracking the backstage secret going on there.
The makers of the film recently organised a grand audio launch in Chennai, which was attended by the whole cast and crew. According to the most recent update, the film’s producers have also confirmed that Raayan has completed its censoring requirements and has been certified an ‘A’ by the CBFC.
